Unseen (2023)

Director’s Statement

'Unseen' is first and foremost, a tribute to the sacrifices of my migrant parents. It explores the difficulties of adapting to a strange land, and the pain and sometimes burden of trying to maintain one's cultural identity in isolation.

It is also my chance to explore an a genre I've always been in love with; science fiction. Taking inspiration from some of my favourite sci-fi films, it is my intent to create a world that feels dense and alive both within and without the frame.

It is my hope that in combining a message that I’m passionate about with a genre I love, ‘Unseen’ will be able to reach audiences in meaningful and spectacular way.
